[WIP] The alias under which I will be sharing future turntablism content, using portable and half-DIY gear.
Why half-DIY?
Long story short, I got
this
SC500 from
PortablismGear, instead of assembling one myself. I foresaw a couple of
advantages in doing so, hence the pragmatism. In reality, the
unit alone is good enough for a hobbyist/novice, however one can
always improve the setup in other ways—the DIY part.
Specifically:
- Peli 1040 Micro Case (black)
- Powerbank (5k)
- Velcro Cable Ties
- USB-C to 3.5mm Cable (black)
- USB-A to USB-C Manhattan Coiled Charging Cable (black)
- SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Flash Drive(s) (64Gb)

The goal here is to have a portable workstation for comfortable sofa and outdoor sessions alike.
Inspiration
P.S.: I plan to get a Dirtywave M8 and fit it into the build somehow, once they are back in stock. This all may be moved into a site devoted entirely to general music production with portable gear.
